Sleek, slender and matt black: contemporary to the core
The black Solits plinth is suitable for many applications, such as a design of a shop, museum, trade fair, but it can also serve as a discreet prop in your living room or office. This plinth is lightweigt, hollow and therefore easy to move, yet it can support a weight of up to 100 kg. We have a large number of sizes in stock that can often be shipped the same day. In addition, any customized size can be made for you.
A black plinth, more scratch-resistant than ever
Until May 2020, we finished our black plinths by spraying MDF with a water-based paint. This look was nice, but we wanted it to be even nicer and even more practical. That’s why we started looking for alternatives and we found them! The current black plinths are made of MDF with an HPL (high pressure laminate) layer. This layer has many advantages. The material is more scratch-resistant, the finish is matt and the corners have a clearer, better pronounced finish. We like it better! An additional advantage: we are able to have these display plinths ready for you faster now that we do not have to take into account the required drying time of approximately 3 working days. As a bonus, it has contributed to creating an even healthier working environment for our production colleagues.

The colour of this black plinth can be approximateld to RAL 9005. If you want a plinth in a different shade of black, for example RAL 9004, RAL 9011 or RAL 9017 or any other colour, you can still opt for

Accessories for your black display plinth
You can customize this black plinth with your own logo, LED lighting of your choice, a different top and a beautiful display case made of high-quality acryl or glass. Our plinths are provided with sturdy, custom-made 4 mm thick felt pads (see photo). They provide extra protection for the pedestal and for the surface the plinth is standing on.
