Would you like to create an atmospheric, modern and chic look for your home, your office or your shop? Our black plinths would be an excellent choice then, ideal for presenting a plant, an artwork, a lamp or any other accessory. Trust us on this one – the look of an entire room or a garden will get an immediate upgrade with a black plinth.
Black is a colour that results from the absence or complete absorption of visible light. It is neutral and allows the product, be it a plant, an artwork, a lamp or another accessory to take the spotlight. You can also combine black with practically any products and colours. Black plinths provide an ideal basic look, which you can enrich with lighting, stickers or a beautiful display case, glass or acrylic. Our black display plinths are characterized by their perfect finish. They are hollow which makes them light, but strong enough to carry a weight of up to 100 kilograms.
What types of black plinths are available?
At Solits we make the following types of black plinths:
- Matt black plinth
- High-gloss black plinth
- Black oak veneer plinth
A plinth is also called a display stand or a plant display stand. It looks great in any interior. A black plant display stand creates space and makes it easier to give your plant a nice and prominent spot within your space.
The matt white and black plinths are the most popular ones with our customers. Why is that? These plinths are very low-maintenance and give the product you want to display the most justice.
Every interior undeniably requires its own unique touches. Do you want to create a modern chic look? A black high-gloss plinth will definitely help you achieve this. Do you feel that either a natural stone look or a concrete look would be the best fit for your interior? We recommend looking at both Solits plinth concrete look and Solits plinth stone look for your space. Would you still prefer something different which combines modern chic with a cosy touch to it? Our black oak veneer plinth will be a perfect choice then.
We also make black plinths suitable for outdoor use. You can place them in your garden, on your terrace, at the entrance to your shop, restaurant, hotel or museum. Just like that, your entrance will receive a new, modern and chic look. Our black outdoor plinth can be found here.
Are you looking for a matt black or a high-gloss black plinth in a size that you do not see in our web shop? We have our own workshop, therefore we can also make custom-sized black plinths.

The weight that you can place on Solits plinth black is up to 100 kg. Depending on the object that is placed and the weight distribution/surface over which the weight is spread, this weight can be even more. Due to the mitered gluing, these plinths are very strong. If the length or width is greater than 60 cm, we can also optionally provide the plinth(s) with inner reinforcement ribs for added strength.
We have a standard warranty of 6 months on all our products. However, in practice, we like to strive for the best quality. If products clearly show defects outside the warranty period, we will deliver a replacement product in most cases. The warranty often applies without prejudice to the legal rights regarding warranty and conformity that the private customer can always invoke.
The lead time of a product is stated on our website right under the article name. All delivery times are quoted in working days. 1-3 means that when you order the relevant item, you will receive it within 1 to 3 working days.
We determine the shipping costs based on your specific order. Factors like the total weight play a role, but the actual size and the material your order is made of are important as well when determining the shipping method and price. Under Service – Delivery you can find the weight classes associated with shipping costs. This information is indicative and is meant to provide an idea, not the final calculation. Our white and black plinths have a top layer of laminate, which is somewhat resistant to a light degree of exposure to moisture. If water is spilled onto such a plinth, this will not create an immediate problem. Nonetheless, you should try to dry the plinth as quickly as possible, so that moisture does not penetrate into the plinth. Please, pay particular attention to the bottom and the seams of the plinth, as moisture will get absorbed more quickly from these spots, which may result into water damage.
