Thanks to the partnership between Solits and the Dutch Design brand (winners of the Red Dot awards 2013) we have designed a unique lightweight plinth made of cardboard. 

For the past 15 years Solits has been at the forefront of developing and creating display plinths internationally. Dutch Design Brand made critical acclaim as the creators of the Dutch Design Chair. A sustainable, durable seat made of cardboard. Their stylish design skills have now also been applied to our lightweight display plinths. Respect for both humans and the environment are part of the principal requirements of the Dutch Design Brand.

Dutch Design Display Concrete Concrete plinths that are actually easily movable? That is indeed possible! Our Dutch Design Displays are actually made of cardboard. However as a result of the internal cardboard cross structure the display can easily support a weight of 75 kg. The concrete design will give an industrial, robust character to your interior.

A cardboard plinth can carry a weight of up to 75 kilos.

Can cardboard plinths be used multiple times?

Cardboard plinths can certainly be used several times, depending on how careful you are handling them when packing up your stand/event/exhibition. They are very easy to assemble, fold and store.

How thick is the cardboard the plinth is made of?

The cardboard is approx. 2 mm thick.

Can cardboard plinths be painted?

We have no experience with painting cardboard plinths. We do have experience in branding plinths, which we are happy to do for you. We also offer full-colour printed cardboard plinths as a separate product.

Are the cardboard plinths collapsible?

Yes, our cardboard plinths are collapsible.

Can cardboard plinths be made to measure?

We offer cardboard plinths in a number of standard sizes. If you need custom-made plinths, our wide range of MDF plinths is a better option. However, if you need larger quantities (50 pieces and up), please, contact us to inquire about possibilities.
